Character bios, Season Five Episode Titles, Spoilers
In 1997 a television show called Buffy The Vampire Slayer hit screens across America. It revolved around a girl called Buffy Summers, who was chosen to battle vampires, demons, and any other evil that should happen her way.
It also introduced a character, a man, shrouded in mystery. His name was Angel, and soon he and Miss Summers became lovers. He was hiding a secret from her though.... he was a vampire!
Over 240 years old Angelus had once been one of the fiercest and cruellest vampires around, but revenge was taken on him by the family of a Gypsy girl he killed. They gave him a soul, and now he must atone for every evil act he has performed.
David Boreanaz plays Angel, once just a recurring character, now the lead in his adventure of atonement ANGEL. Living in LA, with the law firm for demons, Wolfram & Hart, working against him, it shall not be easy... but anyone can manage it, Angel can!

| ANGEL - Anno I Angel has moved to LA to start a new unlife without Buffy, only to find another ex-Sunnydale resident Cordelia. He also finds himself in the company of Doyle,a half human/half demon, sent by The Powers That Be, to guide Angel in his quest for redemption, with the aid of 'visions'. This gift is passed on to Cordelia when Doyle sacrifices himself to save a community of demons in trouble. Angel & Cordelia find themselves a new ally, however, in the shape of Ex-Watcher Wesley, now a 'Rogue Demon Hunter'. But are the three of them prepared to take on demon lawyers Wolfram & Hart? |

ANGEL - Anno II Darla is back from the dead, brought back by Lindsey and Wolfram & Hart, and to make matters worse, so is Drusilla. Angel abandons his friends, Cordelia, Wesley & new ally Gunn, as he becomes increasing obsessed with his sire. As Wesley leads the gang into their own detective agency, Angel finds himself increasingly drawn to his darker side. He soon gives up, and sleeps with Darla, bracing himself for the loss of his soul. Instead he has an epiphany, and rejoins his gang, trying hard to regain their trust, especially Cordelia. As lawyer Lilah Morgan takes over Wolfram & Hart, Cordelia gets sucked into a strange dimension where demons keep humans as slaves. Angel, Wesley & Gunn follow with the aid of The Host, who belongs there. |

ANGEL - Anno III The series begins with Angel getting over the death of his true love Buffy... only to find that his other ex-flame, Darla, is pregnant with his child. Angel also has his work cut out for him when he learns a demon called Sahjhan has brought his nemesis, Holtz, back from his past - with the intention to kill Angel for his crimes - as Angelus - against his family. Angel becomes a single father when Darla stakes herself in order to give birth to their son, Connor. Cordelia gets a shock when The Groosalugg turns up from the Pylea dimension, in hopes of picking up his relationship with his princess. Tragedy hits the group when Wesley uncovers a prophecy that Angel will kill Connor - and takes Connor away for his safety... only to have Justine - one of Holtz' cohorts - cut his throat and take the baby to Holtz. Angel, in desperation allows Holtz to take baby Connor into a Hell dimension, to save the child's life from Lilah Morgan and Wolfram & Hart. Wesley is left, alienated from the group while his former friends face something very unexpected... a teenage Connor returning from the dimension Holtz took him to - in order to kill his father! |

Anno IV
The series begins with Gunn and Fred searching for Angel and Cordelia, whilst looking after the troublesome Connor. Wesley continues his relationship with Wolfram & Hart lawyer Lilah Morgan and Lorne continues his fame in Las Vegas. Angel has spent all summer at the bottom of the ocean... slowly going insane, while Cordelia is bored on a higher plane of existence. Of course, Angel is rescued... by Wesley of all people, and eventually Cordelia returns from where she's been... but things are not as they should be. A new villain - The Beast - seems to have a connection to Angelus, and the gang decide to bring Angel's inner bad out for a spin... but he escapes and it's up to Faith and Willow to get his soul back... once that's achieved, and new problem rises it's head... The Beast's master, and it's none-other than Cordelia!!! To make matters worse, she's pregnant with Connor's child... and the baby is growing fast! It's little surprise that the baby is a demon, and the birth puts Cordelia into a deep coma, while the offspring, Jasmine, a fully grown adult sets about ruling the world... with world peace of all things! With everyone in the world brainwashed by her fake-beauty, it's up to Angel and the gang to defeat this new big bad, essentially by making everyone miserable... an act that will lead them to a new turning point in their fight against evil.... |
