THE
ORIGINAL SERIES - THE
NEXT GENERATION - DEEP
SPACE NINE
ENTERPRISE
- THE MOVIES
the show - regular cast - other cast - episodes

The third spin-off has seen it's fair share of problems, but like Deep Space Nine, has proven itself worthy of it's place in Trek history.
The first Star Trek series to feature a female captain (Janeway - Kate Mulgrew), Voyager saw the franchise return to it's original 'stand alone episodes' format. The series however has an ultimate goal... to get back home. This series' premise was to have two crews from the Alpha Quadrant - one Starfleet, one Maquis (terrorists, lead by Chakotay - Robert Beltran) join forces when they find themselves lost in a different part of the Galaxy... the Delta Quadrant. The series seemed to want to blend in the format of TNG whilst getting in the conflicting characters of DS9... but it just didn't blend well, and by the third season, everyone was pretty much a member of a happy family, united in the quest to get home.
Like, TNG and DS9 before it, it was the show's third and fourth seasons that really got the show going... Voyager's finest moment... the introduction of the Borg, and Trek's first regular Borg babe,,, Seven Of Nine (Jeri Ryan). The show also gaves us our first Vulcan regular since Spock - Tuvok (Tim Russ), an Emergency Medical Hologram (Robert Picardo) and Trek's first regular couple to tie the knot and both survive, Paris and the half-Klingon Torres (Robert Duncan McNeill & Roxann Dawson).
The show's seventh and final season saw the crew finally get home, but only just... following one last run in with possibly the greatest Trek villains ever created... The Borg.
