Promoted to Admiral, Kirk resented his 'office job' and took command of a ship whenever possible. Through the course of the films, Kirk has been chased by the obsessed Khan, found he had a son (David Marcus), lost his son, lost the Enterprise, and lost his best friend, Spock. He has fought on a planet that was breaking up, gone back in time and then he got demoted - possibly the best thing to happen to him, placing him back in command of the Enterprise. Eventually retired, Kirk is asked to attend the launching of the Enterprise B, under Captain Harriman, and finds himself lost in The Nexus. Generations later he emerges, with another famous Captain, Picard. Kirk loses his life while defeating the mad Dr.Soran. |

He is proud to meet the great Captain Kirk, but is sorry to lose him, after they defeat Dr.Soran. Following the destruction of the Enterprise D, Picard takes on command of the Enterprise E, but is prepared to evacuate the new ship when he travels back in time to stop the Borg from changing Earth's history. Picard later is shocked to uncover a conspiracy between Starfleet and a people named Son'a, trying to remove the Ba'ku people from their planetary 'fountain of youth'. On the planet he falls in love with the 200+ year old, Anij. |
